Jobs that “succeed” empty
A script can exit cleanly and still have processed nothing. The file is there, the row count is zero, and the next team treats the run as done. A check that only reads the exit code will call that a success. Monitoring shaped to the workflow watches the outcome the business actually needs: a count, a heartbeat, or a record that landed where it was supposed to.
